LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say one person is dead and another is hospitalized after a boating accident on an Adirondack lake.

Officials tell local media that two boats collided around 9:30 p.m. Monday on Lake George near Cramer Point on the west shore of the lake located in the southern Adirondacks about 55 miles north of Albany.

Local emergency crews and Lake George Park Commission enforcement officers responded to the accident.

Officials say one person has died and another was taken to Glens Falls Hospital.

No other details have been released.

The Warren County Sheriff's Office has scheduled a news conference for 10 a.m. Tuesday to release more information.
