11 Year Old Severs Hand In UTV Accident In Salisbury

An 11-year old Salisbury girl lost her hand in a Utility Vehicle accident  on James Road in Salisbury.

State Police say Ciearra Camarata was traveling too fast and lost control of the UTV.

The vehicle overturned and came to rest on the driver’s side, severing her left hand.

Camarata was airlifted to a Rochester hospital for treatment.

Two passengers on the UTV were not injured.

The accident remains under investigation.
