Utican Arrested for Sex Crime

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica Police responded to 1215 Warren Street Saturday, May 29, 2011, in regard to a loose pit bull complaint and while attempting to locate the loose dog's owner, police began questioning Warren Street resident, Anthony Dotson.

Dotson, 45, was taken into custody for having an open arrest warrant for a forcible touching charge that occurred on May 22, 2011.

On that date it is alleged that Dotson climbed into the bed of his fiancée’s 18 year-old daughter, while she was sleeping and began touching her in an inappropriate manner. The daughter told her mother and they called the police to pursue criminal charges.

Dotson is currently being held in police lockup pending his arraignment in Utica City Court at a later time.
