BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — A 19-year-old gang member who was found guilty of killing two people and wounding six others during multiple shootings in Buffalo faces sentencing.

Diamond Lewis was convicted of murder, attempted murder and weapons charges in October.

Investigators say Lewis opened fire at least four times in about a year and a half. A 22-year-old man was killed in October 2014 and an 18-year-old man died in June 2015.

Among the wounded was a 13-year-old girl who was struck while walking to a store in January.

Lewis was arrested the next day after someone shot him from a car.

He faces a maximum of 50 years to life when he is sentenced on Thursday.
