According to the Pershing, Nevada county Sheriff’s office, all six were in good condition but were being taken to a hospital for evaluation as a precaution.

The group, which included James Glanton, 34, his girlfriend Christina McIntee, 25, and four children ages 10, 4 and 3 went into the mountains to play in the snow, but lost their way back home.

During the search temperatures dipped low, even hitting as far as 16 degrees below zero.
