2 Hospitalized After Woman Stabs Them During Fight

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say two people were taken to hospitals after being stabbed during a fight at outside a western New York home.

Police in the city of Lockport in Niagara County say officers responded around 5 p.m. Monday to a report of a fight in front of a home.

Investigators say one person was stabbed multiple times and was taken to Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo. The other victim was taken to Lockport Memorial Hospital.

Their names and conditions haven't been released.

Police later announced that they had arrested 52 year-old Laurie Morley of Lockport and charged her with two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon and assault.

She's scheduled to appear in Lockport City Court on Tuesday. It couldn't be determined if she has a lawyer.
