MILTON, N.Y. (AP) — Police in upstate New York say two teenagers have died after their vehicle crashed into a tree.

Officials say the crash took place on a mile-long straight stretch of a roadway in the town of Milton early Sunday morning. Authorities say the crash caused the vehicle to flip down an embankment.

Logan Wieland, of Galway, and Conor Bradshaw, of Ballston Spa, both 19, were pronounced dead at the scene after responding emergency crews found the demolished vehicle.

Saratoga County Sheriff Michael Zurlo says investigators are still reconstructing what led to the crash. Zurlo says autopsies have been scheduled.

Wieland and Bradshaw graduated last year from Galway High School.
