2 Uticans Arrested in Connection With Sexual Abuse of a Child

Breaking:  Jerry McNair and Petra Gonzalez have reportedly been found dead in a house on McVean Street.

Two people are behind bars following the New York State Police's investigation into Sexual Abuse of a child. According to authorities, Petra Gonzalez of Utica was arrested for Endangering the Welfare of A Child and Jerry Mcnair of Utica was arrested for Sex Abuse in the 1st Degree, a felony.

The two were arraigned in the City of Utica Court and sent to the Oneida County Jail.  This investigation was a joint investigation utilizing the resources of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center and the Utica Police Department Warrants Unit.

The two were arraigned in the City of Utica Court and sent to the Oneida County Jail. Gonzalez is being held on $5,000 cash bail and Jerry Mcnair is being held on $40,000 cash bail. The victim has been offered counseling through the Child Advocacy Center.
