NEWFIELD, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say they've charged three people with second-degree murder after a man was found dead outside a central New York home last week.

The Tompkins County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded around 5 a.m. Friday for a reported cardiac arrest at a home in the town of Newfield, near Ithaca. When deputies arrived, they found 30-year-old Camden Rundell dead in the front yard.

Police say an autopsy conducted Saturday determined his death was a homicide and an investigation began. Officials haven't disclosed the manner of death.

On Saturday police arrested two women, a 37-year-old from Dryden and a 38-year-old from Ithaca, and charged them with murder. A 39-year-old Ithaca man was arrested the next day on the same charge.

All three are being held in the county jail without bail.
