2012 Boilermaker Field To Expand

Utica, NY (WIBX) - The field for next year's Boilermaker is being expanded.Race officials have announced the cap for the 35th Boilermaker will be 14,000, an increase of 1,000 runners over this year.

The cap for the 5-K race will remain at 4,000.

Race Director Jim Stasaitis says runners can register for the race online beginning, Saturday, January 7th at www.boilermaker.com.

The 2012 Boilermaker will take place on Sunday, July 8th.
