America’s Greatest Heart Run and Walk Kickoff

With a fundraising goal just shy of $1.1 mllion, the 2016 America's Greatest Heart Run and Walk kicks off tonight.

Organizers say they will announce a new event for the Heart Run and Walk Weekend at a press conference today.

Several businesses and organizations, including Townsquare Media station WIBX950am, participate in the event which is designed with many efforts in mind, among them increasing awareness about heart disease and stroke, educating the publicabout ways to adopt more healthy lifestyles, and raising money for research and outreach about one of the top killers of adults in the United States.

Tonight's kickoff takes place at 6:00pm at the Yahnundasis Golf Club located at:
