ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — Police in Rochester say they're investigating a second fatal shooting on the same city street in less than 24 hours.

Officers say a 24-year-old man was standing on the side of North Clinton Avenue around 10 p.m. Tuesday when he was hit by gunshots fired from a vehicle. He was taken to a Rochester hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

His name hasn't been released.

The shooting occurred about 20 hours after a man was shot and killed on another stretch of North Clinton Avenue.

No arrests have been made in the shootings. Police say they don't know yet if the slayings are related.
