Live WWII Bomb Discovered In France

Marseille, France (WIBX) - Construction workers building a retirement home in France discovered something they won't soon forget...a live bomb.

It is believed that the bomb was a German plant leftover from World War II. It was wrapped and gently lifted to prevent an explosion.

About 1,500 residents of the town of Marseille were evacuated during the excavation.
