Rome Police Investigating Child’s Death

Rome, NY (WIBX) – Rome Police are investigating the death of an 11-month old child.
Police were called to a home on River Street at about 7:00 yesterday morning for a report of an unresponsive child.
The child was taken to Rome Hospital were she was pronounced dead.
The identity of the child is not being released at this time. Rome Police are expected to release more information today.
