7 Injured In Paris Wreck

Paris, NY (WIBX) - The Oneida County Sheriff's Office say seven people were sent to the hospital with minor injuries when the van they were riding in slid on a slick, snow-covered road and overturned.The accident happened just before 5:30 this morning on Route 8 in the Town of Paris.

Deputies say 33-year old Doh Eh of Utica lost control of the van due to excessive speed.

The vehicle left the road, hit a street sign, then traveled down an embankment and overturned in a field.

Eh was not injured.

He was ticketed for speed not reasonable for road conditions, failing to keep right, operating an un-registered motor vehicle and operating without liability insurance.
