7 Year Old Ejected From Vehicle During Accident

Rome, NY (WIBX) - A motor vehicle accident sends three to the hospital, that according to State Police.  25 year old Ashley Kivler of Verona was driving on Route 365, when it's believed she tried passing a slower moving vehicle on a section of that four-lane highway. 

During the pass, Troopers say the vehicle Kivler was operating swerved into the driving lane and in an attempt to correct the vehicle, Kivler overcompensated, sending the Ford Explorer careening off the roadway into a barrel roll. 

As the vehicle flipped over several times, a 7 year old was ejected. That child suffered a broken leg and  the front seat passenger, Amanda Bresset, sustained a broke neck . the driver broke her shoulder and wrist. 

All 3 were transported to area hospitals, with charges pending against the driver, Ashley Kivler.
