The 72 Tavern and Grill is coming to the Adirondack Bank Center.

The sports bar with a full service restaurant will be attached to the west end of the building and is scheduled to open this spring.

The "72" is in honor of the 72 cables that have held up the roof of the Adirondack Bank Center for more than 50 years.

The Tavern and Grill will be open year-round, seven days a week and will have its own entrance.  The restaurant will be operated and managed by ORB, the branch of Mohawk Valley Garden that runs the Adirondack Bank Center’s concessions and food service operations.

The focal point of the bar and restaurant will be a 160 inch LED video wall designed and manufactured locally in Whitesboro by Mike Evke, Founder of Eversan. Construction

Three job fairs will be held next week to fill over 50 positions at the restaurant.

The job fairs will run as follows:

  • Monday, March 19, from noon-3 pm
  • Wednesday, March 21, from 4-7 pm
  • Thursday, March 22, from 4-7 pm

"It’s extremely exciting to be able to expand ORB F&B into the restaurant industry at the Adirondack Bank Center, an historic venue that has consistently served as a social center of Utica,” said President of Mohawk Valley Garden Robert Esche. “72 Tavern and Grill is a key factor in providing the ultimate experience for the patrons and fans at this historic National Engineering Landmark.”
