9-Year Old Boy In Critical Condition Following Car Accident in Lee

A nine-year old boy is in critical condition with serious head trauma after a three-car accident.

State Police say 80-year old James Chrisodolou of Rome allegedly did not stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Stokes Westernville Road and State Route 26.

He crashed into one car that was then launched into the northbound lane, hitting another car in which Ryan Williams was a passenger.  Ryan had been sitting in the front passenger seat of the vehicle.

The drivers of all three cars, including Ryan's mother Josi Williams, had non-life threatening injuries.

UPDATE: 14 February 2013 04:14 A spokeswoman at Upstate University Hospital has confirmed that Ryan Williams is in critical condition at this hour.

UPDATE: 15 February 2013 04:12  Ryan Williams remains in critical condition at this time.
