Is there something wrong with what Jane Velez-Mitchell is doing with her face?
Some are alleging that Velez-Mitchell was trying to get her interview subject, introduced during the interview by the commentator as "a dear friend of Travis Alexander," to cry.
Travis Alexander was killed by Jodi Arias whose much-publicized murder trial garnered international media attention. One fan of Arias, David Lee Simpson, stands accused of threatening three people for their "tone" and coverage of the Arias trial. Among those he allegedly threatened were fellow CNN (the Cable News Network owns HLN, formerly known as "Headline News") employee and former Court-TV star Nancy Grace and Jane Velez-Mitchell.
David Lee Simpson Taken Into Custody For Allegedly Threatening CNN Anchors Nancy Grace And Jane Velez-Mitchell
A New York man is in custody for allegedly threatening to kill CNN commentators Nancy Grace and Jane Velez-Mitchell, along with another woman in Phoenix, Arizona. Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio says David Lee Simpson was angered by the tone that the anchors adopted when discussing the Jodi Arias murder trial.
