Visiting aviators to Griffiss International Airport may have a new facility to serve them soon. The Griffiss Local Development Corporation is providing financing to create a facility that would include a conference room, pilot’s lounge, theater, and a lunch counter. The $2 million project is pending a land lease agreement with the County. It would be constructed by GLDC, and subleased to Freeman Holdings, which operates the Fixed Base Operations.
