Verona Motorcycle Accident

Two Verona residents are recovering after striking a guide rail in a motorcycle accident.

Oneida County Sheriff’s Office say 37 year old Timothy Wright was driving his passenger 22 year old Jessica Burnop on Tilden Hill Rd in Verona, Thursday night, when he decided to pull off the roadway for a moment. According to authorities Wright lost control on the loose stone dirt and struck a guide rail, causing Burnop to be ejected from the motorcycle. Both sustained injuries to the arm, leg and foot and were treated on scene before being sent to a local hospital. Wright was ticketed for operating a motorcycle with out a license.
