Congressmen Michael Arcuri and Dan Maffei will meet with Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood today to push for additional federal funding for high speed rail development in Central New York and the Mohawk Valley. Today's meeting will also include Federal Railroad Administration Administrator Joseph Szabo. The congressmen will discuss potential projects in their respective districts that are ready for funding consideration this year.
