Throughout the month of September, the Rescue Mission of Utica and Men's Wearhouse are teaming up to collect thousands of articles of professional attire. The second annual National Suit Drive helps thousands of men look presentable for a job interview by providing work-appropriate attire to those looking to reenter the workforce. Last year, the inaugural suite drive garnered 125,000 professional items nationally. This year, the Rescue Mission of Utica has set a goal of not only gathering as many items as possible, but also to increase awareness about the campaign. Men's Wearhouse will accept donations for the Rescue Mission at its New Hartford store on Commercial Drive in New Hartford--it will serve as drop-off sites for gently used suits, dress shirts, sport coats, slacks and ties. The drive ends September 30th.
