Ilion Police say the unidentified 29-year old woman was found stabbed several times at the Remington Park Apartments on Cottage Street just before 1:00. 50-year old William Woods of Utica was located by officers a short distance away with self-inflicted stab wounds. He was also taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Woods was charged with burglary and assault. He was arraigned in Village Court and sent to the Herkimer County Jail without bail.
