A ribbon cutting of the Central New York Veterans Outreach Center added to the celebration honoring veterans today. Utica mayor David Roefaro addressed the crowded corner Genesee and Washington Streets outside of the center and thanked all the vets from all wars for their service. Roefaro presented a proclamation honoring vets rights and needs to services while declaring the center “open.” The Vet Center will serve as a one stop shop for all Veterans returning home from over seas from learning about benefits to an internet cafe.
