Four Syracuse University Students Identified as Victms of Fatal Crash on Route 12 in Paris

Two Syracuse University Students are dead and two other students were injured after a crash on Route 12 in the Town of Paris. 19-year-olds Saem Ho of Hauppauge, New York and Young Wang of Norwood, New Jersey, were both pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle Hyun Sung Chang and a rear seat passenger Chaewan Shin, also both 19, were treated for non-life threatening injuries at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Deputies say the students were believed to be headed to the New York City-area. The accident remains under investigation. Deputies say some of the occupants were wearing seatbelts but will wait until after the coroners report to make a definitive announcement.
