A 24 year old man is charged in connection with six of eight intentionally set fires which have occurred in Little Falls over last couple of months. Daniel Simonds faces a total of seven counts of arson and will likely face additional charges of burglary and criminal mischief for illegally entering the buildings which he allegedly set on fire. Police say Simonds has also admitted his involvement in several other crimes including burglarizing homes of elderly residents and stealing items from porches. Police say they recovered some prescriptions medications and property which were allgedly stolen from homes, and about a half a pound marijuana which Simonds purchased with stolen money. He's being held in Herkimer County Jail on $20,000 cash bail.
