Hannaford Supermarkets is announcing the success of its Hannaford Helps Fight Hunger campaign. During the holiday season, customers were asked to purchase $10 pre-packaged boxes of food staples. In return, they received a $50 coupon book. The campaign, in five states, raised $900,000 in cash and groceries. Locally, the County Pantry food bank in Kirkland received 350 boxes of food, providing meals to as many as 90 families in the Clinton area.
