Mohawk Valley residents have an opportunity to chime in on the State Budget. Assemblywoman RoAnn Destito will host budget hearings this month to discuss local and statewide impacts of the governor’s 2010-2011budget proposals. Chairman of the Assembly Ways and Means Committee, Herman Farrell Jr., will also attend to listen to the concerns of Mohawk Valley Residents. Two hearings will take place on Friday, March 12th in Rome and Utica. From 10:00pm to 11:30pm Destito and Farrell will be at the South Rome Senior Center, and from 1:30pm to 3:00pm they will be at the North Utica Citizens Community Center.
