State Police Investigate Burglary in Westmoreland

State Police in Marcy are conducting an investigation into two unknown subjects who entered a residence in the Town of Westmoreland and stole property. The Investigation revealed that at approximately 8:20 p.m. on Tuesday March 2, 2010 an unknown Hispanic male and female entered the residence located on Norton Ave in Westmoreland, NY and stole miscellaneous jewelry and assorted us currency.

•The female is described as being approximately 25 years old. She is a very light skinned dark female approximately 5' 4" weighing 150 lbs. She is described as having medium brown hair which was pulled back tightly on her head. She wore a dark colored unknown type of shirt or jacket.

•The male is described as being slightly darker skinned than the female, slender in build approximately 5' 5" tall. The male is described as wearing a black and red ski jacket. The upper portion and hood of the jacket is black with the bottom portion being red.

The subjects left the scene in an unknown direction of travel and an unknown means of travel.
