If you're headed to the Utica Saint Patrick's Day Parada on Saturday, make sure you bring a non-perishable food item or two with you. Kevin Dowling of the Parade Committee says once again, they'll be conducting a food drive. Dowling says all food collected will go to Mother Marianne's West Side Soup Kitchen at the St. Joseph-St. Patrick Church Parish Center. He says last year, they collected 500-dollars and over 600 pounds of food. The St. Paddy's Day Parade gets underway at 10:00 on Saturday morning at Oneida Square.
