The New England Patriots have tried to distance themselves from accused murderer Aaron Hernandez, but apparently the message didn't make its way down to the team's ticket office.

Just hours after his arrest, the Pats' released the former Pro Bowl tight end. Then, they offered a free 'replacement' jersey of a current player to fans who returned Hernandez jerseys and head coach Bill Belichick addressed the media this week about the team's focus on taking pride in the community.

But, at least the first Patriots' season ticket sold this offseason still included an image of Hernandez, albeit in the background.
