Adirondack Bank Employee Charged With Grand Larceny
A five-month investigation by the Oneida County District Attorney's Office has led to the arrest of an employee of the Adirondack Bank in Utica.
The DA's office received a complaint from bank officials in January regarding an employee who was suspected of committing larceny and other fraudulent acts.
41-year old MIchael Shaler of Yorkville was arrested and charged with grand larceny, criminal possession of a forged instrument and falsifying business records.
Authorities say the case remains under investigation and more arrests are possible.
