The Utica Comets won their first pre-seasson game Sunday evening with a 4-2 win over Adirondack.  Center Alex Friesen scored two goals in the first period in front of a sell-out home crowd at the JFK Arena in Rome. The game served as a benefit for the Rome facility.

The Comets will play their first 3 games on the road starting October 11th and then will open at home against Albany on October 23rd.
