Airplane Message To Penn St: Take Down Paterno’s Statue, Or We Will

There has been much debate over whether or not Penn State University should take down the life-sized Joe Paterno statue, standing outside of the campus’ Beaver Stadium, in light of the Freeh Report which alleged the longtime head coach knew of, and helped cover up Jerry Sandusky’s sexual abuse of children.
While the school says it has made no official decision on the future of the statue, the university received an airborne threat on Tuesday, “TAKE THE STATUE DOWN OR WE WILL.”
The message was flown over Beaver Stadium via airplane.
There’s no word yet on who is responsible for the message.
