Albany Police Academy To Graduate 10 New Officers

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — The city of Albany's Police Academy is holding its first graduation ceremony.

Ten new officers will graduate Monday from the 26-week academy.

Albany police launched the academy in October as part of their community policing initiative.

The ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. at the newly opened Capital Center, near the State Capitol in downtown Albany.
