Alleged Drunk Driver Injures Two After Crashing Into House

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Two people were injured when their car crashed into a house on Bleecker Street in Utica. Utica Police say an investigation revealed that the driver, 43-year-old Hoi Vu, of James Street in Utica, was intoxicated when he steered his car with two passengers inside into the house.

Vu and one of his passengers were injured in the crash, and were taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. Utica Police charged him with DWI and issued him several traffic summons. They say Vu could face additional charges pending his toxicology result.
