Alleged Meth Lab Found In Vienna

Two men are facing charges after police allegedly found a working meth lab in a home on Deeley Road in the Town of Vienna.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says 40-year old Joseph Cromp, Senior and 30-year old Michael Perron were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine respectively.

Perron was sent to Oneida County Jail on $30,000 bail and Cromp is being held without bail due to his previous felony convictions.

Investigators say further charges are pending after several handguns were also found in the home.

The scene was secured for several hours while members of the NYS Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team worked to clear the residence of all hazardous materials found inside.
