(WIBX) - The wireless world is not limitless...that's according to a report released by Cisco Systems that says America is running out of space on the wireless spectrum.

According to Cisco's Visual Networking Index we will be out of space on the wireless network by 2016. Known as the "spectrum crunch," the problem will result in more dropped calls and higher prices for wireless consumers as soon as next year.

Companies that have bought blocks of reserves on the spectrum but are not currently using them may choose to sell them in the future.

Agencies like NASA and the Department of Defense still hold the best of the spectrum and that is not likely to change.
