American Pharoah, guided by jockey Victor Expinoza, wins the Belmont Stakes, becoming the first Triple Crown champion in 37 years.

Frosted and jockey Joel Rosario came in second and Keen Ice, ridden by Kent Desormeaux, came in third.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, who was originally scheduled to attend the Belmont Stakes today, flew instead to the scene of a maximum security prison break in the village of Dannemora, New York.
