And Then There Were Six…Another Fugitive from Oneida’s Top Ten List Arrested
Cross one more name off of the most recent Top Ten List of Most Wanted from Oneida County.
Number three on the list, Shakime Connors, was arrested on Friday, January 23, 2015 while police were watching a home on the 800 block of Oswego Street in Utica, New York after receiving a tip.
In a written release Sergeant Peter Kallaur with the Warrants and Fugitive Unit of the Oneida County Sheriff's Office says law enforcement personnel approached Connors as he was leaving the residence. Police say Connors did not reveal his identity at first but did a short while later, saying that he had recently returned from New York City.
Connors, now 23 years old, had previously been arrested and charged with burglary in the third degree. Following his capture on Friday he was arraigned in front of Judge Michael Dwyer and is being held at the Oneida County Jail without bail.
As of this posting others on the most wanted list that have been captured include:
- #1 Edward J. Beauvais
- #2 Abdul S. Hancock
- #10 Gino V. Placanica, Jr.
