Annual Brothers Forever Ride This Weekend

This Saturday is the seventh annual Brothers Forever Ride to honor Thomas Lindsey, the Utica police officer who was shot and killed in the line of duty in 2007.The 75 mile motorcycle trip will take riders north on Route 12, into Herkimer County and then back down into Utica ending at the F.X. Matt Brewery.

Registration for the ride begins at 9 a.m. at Utica City Hall with a ceremony honoring Officer Lindsey at 10:30. Kickstands will go up at 11 a.m.

The fee is $25 per rider which includes a passenger, a souvenir pin and admission to the after party at the F.X. Matt Brewery.

The after party features live music by the band Baddog as well as food and beverages. All are welcome to the party which begins at 1 p.m. The non-rider entry fee is $5 and all prices include one beverage ticket.
