Annual Celebrity Wheelchair Classic Returns

New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - It’s almost time for tip-off!

The 9th annual Sitrin Celebrity Wheelchair Classic Basketball Game is happening this Thursday night at 6:30 at New Hartford High School.

A team of local celebrities will be taking on the Sitrin STARS.

Syracuse University basketball star Rick Jackson, UFC fighter Matt “The Hammer” Hamill and Olympian and 2011 Women’s Luge National Champion Erin Hamlin will be participating.

WIBX’s Jim Rondenelli will also be playing in the game.

Money raised by the event will be used to purchase equipment for Sitrin’s Adaptive Recreation and Sports programs.

Tickets are $7 for adults $3 for students.
