BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — A nine-day road rally for vintage cars is rolling 2,300 miles across New York and New England, with dozens of drivers competing for $150,000 in prizes.

The 35th annual Hemmings Motor News Great Race revved up Saturday at the Pierce-Arrow Museum in Buffalo, with more than 120 antique cars. They'll travel from Fairport through Norwich and Cooperstown to Troy on Sunday. From there, the route goes through Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine and New Brunswick before finishing in Halifax, Nova Scotia on July 1.

The event isn't a race, but is a timed event in which teams of drivers and navigators match wits.

Teams are from across the United States as well as England, Germany, Japan and Canada.
