Another Round of "The Voice" Could Mean Big News Locally

We know he tried out for NBC's "The Voice" over the summer; but, we still don't know if local Showtime performer, Shawn Smith will make it through the 'Blind Audition' round of the competition.

Smith didn't perform on Monday's premiere of "The Voice."

The program judges contestants solely on their voice by giving 'Blind Auditions" that eliminate the visual. More blind auditions are scheduled for Tuesday night starting at 8 on NBC.

If Smith is selected in this round, he won't perform again for a few weeks until the blind auditions are complete.
