Rome Mayor Jacqueline Izzo and DePaul Properties of Rochester have announced a re-development project at the former Dewitt Clinton School.

The proposed DePaul Dewitt Clnton Apartments would provide 60 mid-market units for families earning $37,500 a year or less.  The apartments would be fully handicap accessible.

Izzo says the housing project will continue the city's efforts to provide new, affordable housing options in the community.

“We also thank DePaul for their willingness to invest in our City as well as providing construction jobs and long term employment in the new apartment complex,” said Izzo.
