April Is Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month
April is Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month and local officials are highlighting the importance of reporting suspected cases of child abuse.
Lucille Soldato, Oneida County Commissioner of Social Services, says child abuse can be prevented.
She says if you see a suspected case of child abuse, cal the County’s Child Abuse Prevention Hotline at 1-800-342-3720.
County Executive Anthony Picente issued a proclamation today and children from the Neighborhood Center took part in a balloon launch outside of the County Office building.
