If you thought Heart Run and Walk weekend was cold in Central New York, get ready for St. Patrick's Day in Utica. The National Weather service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for central New York.

This outlook goes into effect Thursday, and will run through the weekend. Today and Tonight. An arctic front will move through on Friday along with strong gusty winds with the potential for heavy snow showers. Expect very cold and gusty conditions through Saturday too. Subzero wind chills can be expected Saturday morning through the parade as well.

 

Keep in mind we could see lake effect snow setting up southeast of Lake Ontario late Friday through Saturday with the potential for several inches of accumulation north of Central New York.
