Are Inmate Assaults At the Oneida County Jail On The Rise?

Oriskany, NY (WIBX) - Despite three reported assaults at the Oneida County Jail over the last two weeks, two involving high profile inmates Christian Patterson and David Trebilcock, Oneida County Sheriff Rob Maciol says jail assaults are not on the rise.

Maciol says there were ten reported assaults at the jail last year, 12 the year before and 14 in 2009, so assaults are actually going down
