As technology becomes more advanced, more and more people are flying.  If the number of people flying increases so then may the number of flying-related accidents.

Plane Had Problems Before Crash That Killed Two

SHIRLEY, N.Y. (AP) - Federal transportation authorities say a pilot was aware his single-engine plane had problems when it crashed last August, killing him and one of two passengers interested in buying the aircraft. A NTSB report says David McElroy of Orient and his mechanic "represented" to the potential buyers that the plane was airworthy when it wasn't.
